Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is best known for her role as Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school prior to moving to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in movies and television shows. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest on TV and in films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood and was filming between 2000 and 2001. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also starred in a four-part audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's life.
